Clair Rachel Howell will be spreading magic throughout 2020 on the Disney Fantasy!

Oceanborn follows two young women as they face the pressures and expectations of future leadership in a climate of violence and uncertainty. Eira, a Viking warrior and next Chief of her tribe, struggles to overcome the prejudice against female leaders in her culture. Finn, the daughter of a Celtic fisherman, has a desperate wish to escape responsibility and wander the world. When a failed raid leaves Eira abandoned, assumed dead, on Finn’s shore, she is faced with the culture that left her parentless. As understanding and an unlikely friendship blossoms between them, wicked ministrations by the trickster god Gideon incite a series of violent events.

In August, the story that has sparked a rabid online fan-base (in the realm of “Be More Chill”) comes to New York, bringing the story of two girls coming of age in a world that doesn’t believe they can rule. Come and hear the story of an unlikely friendship that sparked a movement.

Rave Theater Festival's inaugural year will feature 20 new shows from across the country and internationally. The festival will run August 9-25th at Teatro SEA and Teatro LaTea Theatres at The Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center (107 Suffolk Street, New York NY 10002). Spearheaded by Tony Award-winning Broadway Producer, Ken Davenport, the festival aims to provide theatre-makers with an outlet to get their shows up on a New York stage.
